As the Director of the Fund for Trans Generations at Borealis Philanthropy, she oversees the largest global philanthropic initiative for Trans and Non-Binary individuals. Dominique also leads Starks and Whitiker Consulting as Founder and CEO, where she leverages her lived experiences of mass incarceration and 18 months in solitary confinement. Her work spans sex education, radical self-care, and transformative youth development, aimed at dismantling the prison industrial complex through her innovative “gender to prison pipeline” theory.
A 2023 GLAAD Award winner and recipient of multiple accolades, including the Ten Outstanding Young Americans Award, NAACP Freedom Fighter Award, and JM Kaplan Innovation Prize, Ms. Morgan is globally recognized. She is the only Black Trans Woman with a street named after her in her hometown of Omaha, NE, and the first living Trans Woman in the US to receive this honor. She's also the first global model in Apple’s history.
Dominique’s influence extends into the media, and she has been featured in Forbes, Essence, and more. Her new album, "Pisces In E Flat Major," and her latest book, "Discovering Your Power," are inspiring audiences worldwide.
Discography
Dominique is an award-winning singer, songwriter, and artist. After writing her first song at the age of 7, she knew art would always be her anchor but had no idea how it would also allow her to soar to the highest of heights.
She describes herself as a songwriter first, who happens to sing because she says “the lyric leads everything.” She cites Brandy, Sylvester, DDM, Jackie Shane, and Whitney Houston as some of her biggest influences. Her album, Pisces In E Flat Major, her most recent single 'In Love With A Leo' and other releases are available on all major streaming platforms.
